What Is The Buzz On The Hoodia Patch?

Hoodia is sold in many forms; one of the most recent developments has been the introduction of the Hoodia patch. The patch delivery system has been used successfully for birth control and for kicking the smoking habit. Could it be possible it could work the same way for weight loss? The patch works in a time-release fashion by passing through your skin and traveling through your body by way of the bloodstream. It could mean a revolutionary new way to lose weight. The patch became important to those who wanted to quit smoking or not get pregnant, why not for appetite control?

You should be aware there is no scientific evidence that using a Hoodia patch will help you lose unwanted body fat or curb your appetite. There are no clinical studies to back up any claims by companies selling Hoodia patches. Don’t be fooled by products that claim they have proof the patches work. There have been no scientific trials to support the claim that Hoodia patches work!

When the birth control patch was introduced to the public it was a product you could only get by prescription. That meant it had already been through rigorous testing and scientific trials to discover if it worked and if it was safe. Then it was offered to the public as a prescription only product. The Federal Drug Administration approved the patch before it went on the market. It is interesting the Hoodia patches available in the stores and on the Internet do not need a prescription.

Unfortunately there are many people who are desperate to find a way to lose weight without making an effort. The patch seems an easy way to lose weight but do not be sucked into buying a product that has not been scientifically tested! Don’t waste your money on a product that has not been proven by a third-party. It is throwing your money away and causes needless frustration on something that may not work. It is scary enough to take a drug that was approved by the Federal Drug Administration and find out later it has severe side effects. Why use a product that does not have any scientific documentation?

The patch for quitting smoking and for birth control have been tested and scientifically proved to be effective. Meanwhile, why not wait for the tests and clinical trials to be run before you buy into the marketing ploy of the Hoodia patch? You could be wasting your money and you could be tampering with your health.

There are other forms of Hoodia on the market that have been tried and tested. There are testimonials of those who used Hoodia and lost weight without losing energy. Research your Hoodia product before you buy it. Make sure it has been lab tested and certified as the real Hoodia. Hoodia gordonii extract is rare, controlled, and rare. If you are buying Hoodia for a small price, you are probably buying more filler than Hoodia extract!
