Vitamin B Complex Side Effects
Vitamin B Complex Side Effects
When you take Vitamin B complex you should be aware if there are any side effects. Of course all vitamins and other medications will have the hoped for effect of the medicine itself. However all medications can have unwanted side effects.
Remember too, that the Federal Drug Administration does not guard the nutrition supplements for safety or purity. As long as the people marketing the nutrient do not claim it cures, prevents or treats any diseases, then they don’t have to prove it is safe or effective.
Some side effects start when you first take the nutrient and then when your body adjusts to it, they slowly improve and then go away. It can take up to three weeks for a body to adjust to a new medicine or nutrient. If you have something new start up when you begin a drug or nutrient it would be a good thing to speak with your doctor and to discuss the side effect so you know if it will go away, get worse or what.
The first thing you need to be aware of when you start taking something new into your body is the signs of an allergic reaction. They are as follows: swollen lips tongue and face, difficulty breathing and possibly hives (raised itchy bumps). If you have any of these call for emergency help as this could be life threatening.
Lesser side effects can occur, such as rash with itching, irregular heartbeat, upset stomach and nervousness beyond what is normal for you.
Though B complex vitamins are safe they still should not be taken in large doses as the possible effects of mega dosing it is: gouty arthritis, high blood sugar levels, and skin problems. Overdoses can lead to heart and liver problems.
Again if you experience any worrisome symptoms, that you believe are due to the medication, then call your doctor or your pharmacist and seek advice.
Vitamin b complex side effects are many and you should be aware of them on your journey to good nutritional health.
